Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled process engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing processes within our organization to improve efficiency and productivity. The process engineer will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and propose solutions to streamline workflow and reduce waste.

  • Process Safety Controls
  • HAZOP studies
  • PFDs and Risk Management
  • Process safety controls and instrumentation design
  • Risk assessments and deviation analyses
  • Process design of petrochemical projects
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field
  • Professional registration at ECSA as a Professional Engineer
Experience:
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in petrochemical projects
  • Experience with process safety controls and instrumentation design
  • Experience with petrochemical simulations using ChemCad or similar tools
  • Experience conducting HAZOP studies, risk assessments, and deviation analyses
  • Degree from Tuks, Wits, or Stellenbosch is preferred
