The position of NSC Team Leader is a full-time position, based at Lyra Health head office. The role requires being on call on a rotational basis and performing other duties as assigned by the Head of Operations. This job specification will be reviewed as the role develops.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Leading, developing, motivating, and inspiring the team and individuals to maximize performance.
  2. Coaching and mentoring team members.
  3. Developing, implementing, and maintaining systems for accurate data management and service delivery within client expectations and SLAs.
  4. Running individual and team meetings.
  5. Providing case supervision.
  6. Assisting in department development and growth.
  7. Recruiting suitable staff for new positions.
  8. Managing projects efficiently and providing feedback within turnaround times.
  9. Conducting case reviews for compliance and quality assurance.
  10. Planning and executing performance management aligned with NSC objectives.
  11. Providing performance feedback and recognizing employee efforts.
  12. Developing and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures.
Qualifications
  • Master's qualification as a Clinical or Counseling Psychologist, registered with HPCSA, OR
  • Honors qualification as a clinical Social Worker, registered with SACSSP, OR
  • B-Psych Degree as a Registered Counselor, registered with HPCSAA.

Minimum of 2 years' clinical experience (EAP preferred).
