Role Purpose
We are seeking an enthusiastic and analytical individual to support our Business Strategy by effectively communicating product requirements to stakeholders.
This role serves as a bridge between actuarial life product needs and IT development, ensuring seamless product maintenance and enhancement. The ideal candidate should possess strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with actuarial, retail administration, and finance specialists.
A deep understanding of the full product rules value chain, along with strong business analysis skills, is essential.
Requirements
- Experience & Qualifications
- Education: Related Degree
- Experience: 3+ years in a Business Analysis or Product Team within Long-Term Life Insurance or Reinsurance
- In-depth knowledge of Life Insurance products, including product rules, premium rates, values calculations, and investment structures
- Business analysis or actuarial specialist experience preferred
- Technical Skills: SQL experience, Advanced Excel proficiency, Financial / Statistical mathematics
Duties & Responsibilities
- Gather and interpret business requirements from stakeholders in line with product team frameworks.
- Analyze and translate product requirements into clear specifications for development teams.
- Document requirements and business processes following best practices.
- Oversee the quality delivery of business requirements in collaboration with testing teams.
- Validate, test, and obtain approval for requirements throughout the development cycle.
- Contribute to conceptual solution design, ensuring innovative and sustainable solutions.
- Work closely with stakeholders to align requirements with evolving business needs.
- Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and guide users to ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Manage change requests, facilitate prioritization, and ensure accurate resolution of queries.
- Utilize scenario testing and test cases to validate business specifications and processes.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and IT developments to optimize solutions.
- Enhance client service and fair treatment within the scope of responsibility.
- Foster a positive work environment to improve employee engagement and productivity.
- Encourage innovation, adaptability, and collaboration within the team.
- Identify cost-effective solutions to improve operational efficiency.
