Job Responsibilities:
- Approach all customers, greet, smile, and offer assistance.
- Identify customer needs to provide an optimal experience.
- Take responsibility for serving the customer and resolving queries.
- Apply selling skills effectively.
- Meet customer needs and expectations by asking, listening, and advising on options, services, and products.
- Offer alternatives if merchandise is unavailable.
- Achieve sales and unit targets.
- Stay informed about new lines and promotions.
- Specialize in all departments through focused supplier training and prescribed booklist completion.
- Follow store disciplines and maintain productivity.
- Adhere to opening and closing procedures.
- Ensure merchandising principles are maintained, with all items ticketed.
- Ensure accurate stock counts and check product expiry dates.
- Assist with cash handling at the point of sale and during cash ups.
Job Specifications:
- Grade 12 education.
- Relevant diploma or short course qualification in health and wellness modalities, effective retail selling, or product-specific knowledge; or a minimum of 3 years retail sales experience (2 years industry-specific).
- Relevant degree in Homeopathy, Naturopathy, Phytotherapy, Chinese Medicine, or related natural health qualifications.
Skills: Very good written and verbal communication skills; ability and willingness to work weekends and extended retail hours; competency assessment achieved.
