Are you passionate about sales and eager to carve out a successful career in the cutting-edge world of carbide tooling? We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven sales representative to join our clients team.

Role Summary :

A passionate, motivated, and energetic team player who can identify and engage current and potential clients and articulate solutions that our products can provide.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Prospect and identify new business opportunities within the tooling industry
  • Administrate stock holding and paperwork in line with processes
  • Full stock control including but not limited to customer stock maintenance and stock holding to ensure that products are available when needed to meet customer demands, maintain an orderly stockroom, categorise inventory effectively, and follow stock control processes. organised systems contribute to improved inventory accuracy and operational efficiency.
  • The carbide tooling industry may experience fluctuations in demand, you would need to adapt quickly and adjust inventory strategies

Cold calling to expand on the existing customer base

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed targets
  • Identify and prospect potential customers, cultivating strong relationships to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions;
  • Grow sales volume within existing customer base
  • Keep all necessary paperwork and records of relevant daily sales activities up to date
  • Devise and work detailed plan which needs to be modified and improved to maximise ROI
  • Conduct product presentations. Demonstrations and training sessions
  • Work closely with the sales team and other departments
  • Attend monthly / quarterly performance reviews with management to determine progress regarding agreed KPI’s as well as provide timely and accurate sales forecasts and reports to management
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to capitalise on new opportunities
  • Keep up-to-date records of relevant daily sales activities
  • Always portray a professional image of the company

Requirements :

  • Experience working with manufacturing machines, including but not limited to CNC, milling, lathes, etc
  • Strong understanding of carbide tooling products and applications
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
