Job description

Procurement Admin Manager

Datacentrix is looking for a Procurement Admin Manager for a short-term contract.

Must have people management experience.

The Procurement Admin Manager will be responsible for the coordination of all projects related to the Procurement and Administration departments, as well as managing the Item Code Administration function.

Responsibilities include engagement with Sales and Services Business Units on queries, reports, reconciliations, and suggested corrective and preventative actions.

Key duties include:

  • Query resolution and reconciliation
  • Enforcement of company policies

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Matric / Grade 12 plus Certificate / Diploma in Logistics or Supply Chain Management
  • MS Office knowledge and experience
  • Experience in procurement, document management, and administration
  • Experience with EXCO and holdings reporting and presentations
  • Management of multiple departments and functions
  • Item Code Administration
  • SHEQ experience, ISO standards, and internal training provision
  • End-to-end large project management

Key Performance Areas:

  • Item Code Administration and Document Management
  • OLA Management: processing transactions, managing exceptions
  • Staff Management: goal setting, KPI management, performance appraisals, employee engagement, training
  • Performance Management: reporting to EXCO and management, statistical and analytical reporting
  • Policy enforcement and maintenance
  • Vendor and contractor management, including KPI measurement
  • Process management: document control and storage
  • SHEQ compliance: departmental objectives, risk registers, root cause analysis, audits
