Business Development and Sales Executive

The Business Development and Sales Executive will be responsible for establishing a platform for sales activities related to certification, inspection, and bespoke service delivery to operations and business development teams.
Main Accountabilities
- Obtain new clients and convert these into increased business for Verification of Conformity.
- Ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities.
- Maintain networks with new and existing clients.
- Research and build relationships with potential clients.
- Set up meetings between client decision-makers and company's practice leaders / Principals.
- Plan approaches and pitches.
- Collaborate with the team to develop proposals tailored to client needs, concerns, and objectives.
- Work with technical staff and colleagues to meet customer needs.
- Design and execute sales campaigns.
- Conduct sales forecasts and analysis, presenting findings to senior management.
- Attend industry events, such as association meetings and conferences, and provide feedback on market trends.
- Consult with mid and senior management on business trends to develop new services, products, and channels.
- Identify opportunities for campaigns, services, and distribution channels to increase sales.
- Utilize market and competitor knowledge to develop the company's unique selling propositions and differentiators.
Qualifications, Experience, and Technical Skills
- An applicable post-secondary qualification is advantageous.
- Thorough knowledge of Verification of Conformity programmes.
- Previous experience in a similar role.
- Ability to analyze data and sales statistics to generate positive results.
- Compliance with all non-compete and non-solicitation agreements.
