Hire Resolve's client is seeking to hire a Human Resources Executive to join their team in Germiston, Johannesburg.
The role involves developing, aligning, and implementing a comprehensive human resources strategy that supports overall business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Process & Governance
Design, document, and improve HR processes, policies, and guidelines.
Develop and execute people-related business strategies.
Implement and manage BBBEE scorecard compliance.
Benchmark performance metrics against industry standards and optimize practices.
Align HR practices with business strategy, operating models, and legal requirements.
Facilitate communication and management of competency frameworks.
Act as a strategic HR partner to leadership and operational teams.
Ensure compliance with labour legislation including BCEA, EEA, LRA, OSHA, and NBCRFLI.
Lead HR budgeting processes and manage costs.
Identify and report on cost-saving initiatives.
Oversee payroll and benefits administration for accuracy and compliance.
Manage recruitment within budgets and policies.
Control expenditure related to temporary employment services.
People Management
Implement strategies for talent acquisition, onboarding, retention, and succession planning.
Drive performance management and continuous feedback systems.
Manage employee and labour relations proactively, ensuring legal compliance.
Coordinate skills planning and annual development reporting.
Provide HR advice and operational support to management and staff.
Lead change management initiatives.
Support internal communication and staff engagement strategies.
Qualifications and Experience
Education : Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field.
Experience : 5–8 years in a senior HR leadership role, with 3–5 years in a unionized environment.
Technical Skills : Proficiency in MS Word and Excel; advanced PowerPoint skills; excellent business writing and communication; strong project management.
Personal Attributes : Team-oriented, relationship builder, willing to work extended hours, clear criminal record, South African citizen.
Preferred : Knowledge of the logistics or courier services industry.
