Job Title: Senior Administration Clerk: Secretariat

Job Location: Gauteng, Pretoria

Requirements
  • An appropriate Grade 12 Certificate or NCV Certificate (level 4). A bachelor’s degree or national diploma in public management. The incumbent must have at least 2 (two) years relevant experience.
  • The incumbent should be a creative, proactive, and highly motivated individual with good time-management and organisational skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are required to deal with people at all levels in the Department. The candidate must have experience in the use of computer applications such as MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
Duties
  1. Prepare committee packs, distribute meeting packs on time, attend committee meetings, take minutes, and manage decision matrices. Distribute minutes and decision matrices promptly.
  2. Receive, print, and file documents. Maintain accurate and complete records of agenda items, minutes, and decision matrices for all meetings.
  3. Create and maintain physical and electronic files for documents in the central e-filing system.
  4. Ensure correct printing, numbering, and indexing of incoming documents. Prepare reports, claims for S&T and cell phones, and travel documents.
  5. Perform administrative and management tasks as required.
