Business Development Manager
Our client is a Horticultural and Geological Manufacturer / Distributor operating in Somerset West.
They are looking for a dynamic and results-driven professional with a passion for driving business growth.
Responsibilities
- Identifying and Developing New Opportunities: Actively seek out new markets, potential customers, and products that could drive revenue growth.
- Building Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new customers.
- Developing and Implementing Strategies: Contribute to the development and execution of business development plans and strategies, including marketing plans.
- Research and Analysis: Conduct thorough research to understand market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs, using this information to inform strategies.
- Negotiation and Sales: Negotiate deals, present proposals to customers, and close sales.
- Collaboration: Work closely with sales, marketing, and product development teams to ensure alignment and effective execution of initiatives.
Requirements
- Must be able to speak Afrikaans and English
- Willing to travel within South Africa as needed
- A BCom degree will be advantageous
- Strong drive to seek new business
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

R per month + incentives based on experience
