Job Description

Our client within the NPO space is currently seeking a Finance and HR Manager reporting directly to the CEO. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall management of all financial requirements of the organization, as well as overseeing and developing the HR and Support Services of the business.

Responsibilities :
  1. Manage the full financial function of the business including corporate governance and statutory compliance.
  2. Provide strategic financial support to the CEO, Board members, and HODs to ensure financial best practice is executed.
  3. Develop and implement annual financial and retail plans.
  4. Initiate, manage, and oversee the accurate planning and forecasting of budgets, cash flow, and forecasts.
  5. Achieve internal and external audit targets and other requirements.
  6. Ongoing development, management, and improvement of internal financial operating controls and procedures.
  7. Manage team members and facilitate people development.
  8. Provide team leadership, mentoring, and alignment with company values.
  9. Oversee all operational and HR activities of the organization.
  10. Manage risks to the organization and maintain resource effectiveness.
Requirements :
  • BCom Honours or equivalent financial qualification.
  • 10 years of experience, including proven budgeting and cash flow management experience.
  • Exposure in field finances and fundraising of NPOs would be an advantage.
  • Advanced computer literacy with experience in MS Office and Sage Evolution.
