Job description
Duties:
Build, install, and commission automation systems, including control panels, electrical wiring, and mechanical components.
Interpret and modify electrical schematics to ensure correct installation and system functionality.
Panel building and wiring, ensuring compliance with design specifications and industry standards.
Perform hot works such as grinding, welding, and metal fabrication as needed for installations.
Troubleshoot and fault-find PLCs, robotic systems, and industrial automation components.
Work with hand and power tools for precise and high-quality installations.
Coordinate with project specialists and teams to meet tight deadlines for system installations and commissioning.
Travel locally and internationally for on-site installations and project support.
Ensure compliance with safety protocols and site-specific requirements.
Maintain clear communication with internal teams and clients regarding project progress and challenges.
Experience:
Hands-on experience in automation installations, panel building, and commissioning.
Experience in PLC programming, robotic systems, and fault-finding is advantageous.
Exposure to Industrial Automated systems is beneficial.
Education:
Applicable trade certificate (Electrical, Millwright or Mechatronic).
