Are you an experienced operations leader with a passion for creating environments where excellence in education can thrive?

Our client is seeking to employ a Head of Operations to join their senior management team and take the lead in delivering outstanding operational support across their school.

About the Role

The Head of Operations will be responsible for the strategic and day-to-day management of all non-academic functions. This includes overseeing facilities, administration, compliance, support services, and contributing to a safe, efficient, and high-functioning school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead facilities management – maintenance, safety, and security of the campus.
  • Oversee administrative systems including timetabling, logistics, and calendar planning.
  • Coordinate non-academic HR support: scheduling, recruitment assistance, and performance tracking.
  • Collaborate with Finance on budgeting, procurement, and cost control.
  • Drive operational projects such as renovations and infrastructure upgrades.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, data protection, and educational regulations.
  • Manage supplier relationships and vendor contracts.
  • Support the school’s leadership in crisis response, strategic planning, and stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Minimum: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or a related field.
  • A diploma with extensive relevant experience may be considered.
  • 10+ years’ experience in operations management, with 5+ years in facilities oversight.
  • Prior experience in an educational setting or school operations is highly desirable.
  • Health & Safety certifications (e.g., OHS, First Aid) are a strong advantage.
