Job description

Senior Financial Manager required outside of Pretoria.

As 2ic to the Head of Finance at the mine, this senior role requires someone with experience in mining, quarrying or manufacturing and at least 5 years experience in managing people.

The mine is based an hour outside of Pretoria, direction Limpopo, and will require you to work on site at the operations, every day – no remote work. You will need to be based in Pretoria East/North-East as other areas are too far for daily commute.

Salary: R83,300 – R116,700 per month.

You will need:

• A degree in Finance and 10 years or more working experience
• At least 5 years experience in managing people/teams
• All-rounder finance and accounting skills
• Sector experience in mining/ quarrying or manufacturing
• Must have solid experience working at the operations – not head office
• SAP experience

Focus areas, in addition to the full finance function, will include:

• Inventory and warehouse management
• Overseeing the procurement process
• Overseeing transactional banking and treasury
• Payroll supervision
• Supervising the Finance team
