Minimum requirements:

• Matric.
• Electrical Eng ND/Mechanical Eng ND/Mechatronics Eng ND or Millwright trade.
• Fully bilingual.
• First Language Afrikaans, as the client base prefers to communicate in Afrikaans.
• Strong technical background in vacuum pumps, blowers, water pumps, and compressors.
• Great client orientation.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Communicate proficiently with customers, verbally and via email daily.
• Liaise with customers professionally and courteously, maintaining relationships and growing the business.
• Identify new prospects and cold call potential customers.
• Set and pursue ambitious sales targets, generating new pump sales.
• Expand field service including procuring active service contracts.
• Track previous services and encourage repeat business; generate repair sales for the company's workshops.
• Generate new pump sales: spares, pumps, and systems.
• Perform on-site problem solving.
• Install and repair vacuum pumps and systems on site.
• Develop and implement strategies with the sales team.
• Complete reports on time (weekly and monthly).
• Build relationships with key stakeholders such as Technicians, Engineers, Maintenance Managers, Consultants, Contractors, Distributors, and End users, providing accurate feedback to management.
