We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Learning and Development Specialist to join our team in Cape Town. In this role, you will design, implement, and manage learning programs that enhance employee skills and performance across the organization. The ideal candidate will leverage their expertise in learning technologies, particularly Articulate and SharePoint, to create engaging digital learning experiences.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop comprehensive learning programs aligned with organizational goals and employee development needs
• Create engaging digital learning content using Articulate Storyline/Rise and manage content on SharePoint
• Implement and maintain learning management systems and digital knowledge repositories
• Conduct training needs analyses to identify skill gaps and development opportunities
• Deliver training through various methods including in-person workshops, virtual sessions, and self-paced modules
• Evaluate training effectiveness and measure impact on employee performance
• Stay current with learning trends and technologies to continuously improve our L&OD offerings
• Collaborate with Talent leadership to ensure learning initiatives support business objectives
• Assist in managing the Company’s L&OD platform
• Provide metrics tied to learning performance outcomes

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in learning and development or corporate training roles
• Demonstrated proficiency with Articulate Storyline and/or Rise for e-learning content creation
• Experience in video and animation editing software, Canva, and Photoshop
• Practical experience using SharePoint for content management and collaboration
• Strong instructional design skills and knowledge of adult learning principles
• Excellent presentation and facilitation skills
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, Organizational Development, Psychology, or related field
• Experience with learning management systems and digital learning platforms
• Strong project management and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
