How You'll Make An Impact

1. Efficiently gather, manipulate and analyse time-series data, and develop expertise on the sources and methodologies behind the numbers.
2. Help migrate data, metadata, and calculation methodologies from our legacy data infrastructure to a new platform built around Python, APIs, and other technologies.
3. Set up and run forecast models and review model output, while constantly seeking ways to further improve our models and methodologies.
4. Collaborate with research analysts to ensure accurate and timely data in our products, and use the expertise you acquire to develop new content sets and products.
5. Supervise and assist more junior data analysts and proactively coordinate colleagues to work on data projects.
6. Maintain knowledge of the sources for, availability of, and methodologies behind publicly available economic data.

You May Be a Good Fit If

1. Undergraduate degree in data science, statistics, economics, or similar.
2. Academic or professional experience working with macroeconomic or time-series data.
3. Proficiency in Python, particularly experience with web-scraping, APIs, or data manipulation.
4. Proficiency in Excel including commonly used formulas and techniques.
5. Exposure to economic forecasting and understanding.
