The successful candidate should have a vibrant, dynamic personality, bring warmth and excitement to the classroom and have a love for seeing children thrive in all aspects of school life.

The following competencies are essential in the candidate we seek :

• Excellent administrative, organisational and time-management skills
• Strong English Home Language verbal and written communication skills to effectively liaise with children, teachers, parents and visitors
• A strong understanding of curriculum requirements of the Intermediate Phase across multiple subject and grade areas and in particular English as a home language
• An innovative approach to teaching the 21st Century Child, including the use of IT in the classroom
• Self-motivated, energetic and reliable
• Work as part of a team with other staff and management
• A strong understanding of the diverse nature of the pupil’s within your care
• Capable of coaching a wide variety of sports and to be actively involved in the extra-curricular program of the school - experience and knowledge in coaching boys’ sport will be advantageous
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in the same / a similar type of position and environment
• Fully support the ethos and values of the school which includes respect, integrity, compassion and honesty.
• A teaching qualification with SACE registration or a recognised degree / diploma appropriate to the position.

Starting Date : 1 July 2025 (or agreeable date thereafter)
