Job description

A multi-disciplinary engineering and construction company based in Secunda is seeking an experienced HR Manager with strong IR and recruitment skills to join their team.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day HR functions for approximately 800 employees
• Handle IR functions and ensure legislative and company policy compliance
• Oversee recruitment, job profiling, and terminations
• Organize and maintain personnel records and update internal databases
• Prepare HR documents, including employment contracts and new hire guides
• Liaise with external partners such as insurance vendors and ensure legal compliance
• Create reports and presentations on HR metrics
• Respond to employee queries related to HR
• Support payroll by providing relevant employee information
• Arrange travel accommodations and process expense claims
• Participate in HR projects and initiatives
• Provide guidance and support to management and employees to resolve issues

Desired Experience & Qualifications

• Human Resource Management qualification
• Knowledge of recruitment processes, IR systems, and protocols
• Understanding of HR contracts and labour law
• Proficiency with HR systems and databases (e.g., Sage)
• Own transport and valid driver’s license
• Minimum of 10 years HR experience

Package & Remuneration

R 50,000 - R 65,000 CTC per month.
