German Speaking Onboarding Executive & Account Manager (Cape Town) – Fluent in English and German

What You Will Do

The Onboarding Representative & Account Manager is a dual role within the Octiv Customer Success Team.

You will be responsible for onboarding new clients from Europe and the DACH region and serve as the primary contact for your assigned existing clients.

At Octiv, client relationships are our top priority.

Providing a great onboarding experience is the first step in building meaningful, long-lasting relationships that help grow our business.

Multitasking is essential in this role.

You will coordinate between Octiv clients and internal teams to ensure timely and successful delivery of client needs.

Ultimately, you will ensure a smooth onboarding process that encourages client activation.

You will act as a bridge between clients and the Octiv support team, supporting client needs, advocating on their behalf, and helping to build loyalty.

As the Account Manager & Onboarding Representative, you will report to the Customer Success Manager and the Onboarding Manager, working closely within the Customer Team subdivision.

Your Responsibilities Will Include
Onboarding
  • Deeply understand our clients’ business functions and needs.
  • Ensure client expectations are met and that they are comfortable using our product from the start.
  • Provide exceptional service and a frictionless onboarding experience.
  • Gather necessary information to assist clients in setting up their accounts and facilitate account creation when needed.
  • Sort, upload, and migrate member templates.
  • Assist clients with migrating to Octiv.
  • Help clients complete their account setup and implementation.
  • Support clients with third-party integrations such as payment gateways and Discovery Vitality.
  • Drive product adoption and retention from the initial user journey stages.
Account Management
  • Serve as the main contact for client concerns and needs via email, video calls, or meetings.
  • Build and strengthen long-term client relationships.
  • Maintain accurate client records and track discussions or updates.
  • Handle support inquiries and resolve client issues.
  • Log, test, and approve bugs, workflow issues, or feature requests.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of our products to promote adoption.
  • Understand client businesses and gather feedback for improvement.
The Ideal Candidate Possesses
  • Fluency in English and preferably German.
  • Experience in customer service, onboarding, or SaaS industry.
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience or tertiary education.
  • Ability to multitask effectively.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Outgoing personality with high emotional intelligence.
  • Interest in SaaS, health, and fitness.
  • Flexibility and willingness to adapt and learn.
  • Team-oriented mindset.
