Aon South Africa is recruiting Sales Consultants in our Personal Lines division, based at our offices in Sandton. The sales consultant provides an internal telesales service to clients by means of quoting and selling products to different market segments.

What the day will look likePrepares and processes quotes on the relevant systems and/ or as required.
Provides professional and accurate advice on cover, exclusions, terms and conditions and ensuring clients are advised of any underwriting requirements in terms of the policy.
Negotiates cover and rates with insurers on behalf of clients.
Responsible for generating new business according to set targets.
Ensures that proposals are correctly completed and follows up on outstanding documentation.
Follows up on quotes already produced and not yet accepted by clients.
Ensures that schemes run profitably by adhering strictly to the underwriting criteria.
Responsible for producing weekly and monthly operating/ sales reports.
Responsible for engaging in business development and/or contributing directly or indirectly to all business development efforts in Aon South Africa
