We are looking for highly motivated and customer-focused team members to join SAP's Customer Success organization and strengthen the Cloud Architecture & Advisory team (CAA).

The Cloud Architect Role

The Cloud Architect acts as a primary point of contact for all technical topics from the customer perspective and works closely with internal teams.

Expectations and Tasks

This is a customer-facing role supporting sales teams throughout the entire cycle of a Cloud deal.

• Present detailed technical and operational aspects of RISE with SAP Private Cloud.
• Present requirements and value propositions for SAP private cloud on hyperscalers like AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Conduct technical assessment workshops with customers to define future cloud architecture and plan migration roadmaps with partners, System Integrators, or SAP Professional Services.
• Guide customers on non-functional capabilities such as Business Continuity, Cybersecurity & Compliance, Networking, Technical Operations, and service consumption.
• Collaborate with other teams to generate pricing and support ongoing deals.
• Own technical discussions with customers and coordinate expertise from SAP delivery teams as needed.

Qualifications and Skills

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Business Administration from an accredited university.

High proficiency in customer communication and presentations.

Strong knowledge of SAP solutions, industry solutions, and operational aspects of SAP in a cloud environment.

Understanding of at least one hyperscaler (AWS, Azure, GCP).

Willingness to be part of a global team and travel as needed.

Fluency in English; additional languages are an asset.

Work Experience

• 8+ years of customer-facing SAP consulting experience.
• Experience in solution design, enterprise architecture, or SAP implementation.
• Pre-sales experience is a plus.
• Certifications with IaaS providers and data centers are advantageous.
• Expertise in Cybersecurity & Compliance, SAP Application Lifecycle Management, SAP Operations, ITSM, Service Design & Delivery, SAP HANA, and S/4HANA is beneficial.
