Company : Marsh

Description : We are seeking a talented individual to join our Consumer & Commercial division at Marsh.

This role will be based in Sandton, with a hybrid work arrangement requiring at least three days a week in the office. We will count on you to :

  1. Efficiently multitask, prioritize, and manage time while being goal-oriented and organized.
  2. Be a self-motivated team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  3. Engage and influence clients at C-Suite and high-net-worth levels, understanding their personal asset perspectives.
  4. Identify risks and provide solutions, acting as a Trusted Advisor and single point of contact for clients.
  5. Deliver proactive service within SLAs and TATs, maintaining a deep understanding of key clients and their industry positions.
  6. Drive company growth through new sales, clients, and territories leveraging five years of sales experience.
  7. Conduct sales presentations, cold calls, and develop effective proposals while overseeing the sales process for quality assurance.
  8. Negotiate deals, conduct thorough research on prospects, and cross-sell products and services to maximize client engagement.

Minimum Requirements :

  1. Insurance qualification, preferably ACII / HCII or Fellowship.
  2. Minimum 5 years appropriate experience in the personal lines sales environment.
  3. Relevant formal qualification.
  4. Must have RE 5.
  5. CPD as per requirement.
  6. Must be FAIS compliant as per DOFA & Proof of credits from INSETA.
  7. Fluent in Afrikaans and English.
  8. Insurance Brokerage experience.
  9. Presentation skills.
  10. Basic computer skills and experience with CRM software and the Microsoft Office Suite, with emphasis on Excel skills.
  11. Matric certificate.
  12. Mathematical and computer literacy.
  13. Proven success in a New Business position.
  14. Own transport and driver's license.
