Role overview

A Commercial Manager is responsible for overseeing business growth and profitability by managing commercial activities and strategies. They ensure that the company meets its financial goals while maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders. Focus on identifying and pursuing new business opportunities to drive company growth. The ideal candidate will work to expand the company's market presence and build long-term relationships with potential clients and partners.

Role requirements:

  • Contract Management: Oversee the negotiation, drafting, and management of contracts to ensure compliance and profitability.
  • Lead Generation: Generate leads and build a pipeline of potential clients and partners.
  • Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis to assess the viability and profitability of projects and business ventures.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate commercial risks associated with contracts and business operations.
  • Client Acquisition & Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders. Develop and implement strategies to acquire new clients and expand the customer base.

  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of commercial professionals, providing guidance and support.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree: Typically, in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Management, or a related field.
  • Advanced Degree: A Master’s degree (e.g., MBA) can be advantageous but is not required.

Experience
