Career Opportunity: Engineering Delivery Manager

This is a fantastic career opportunity for someone with engineering project management experience to join a highly collaborative and supportive team in our Capital Maintenance Projects and deliver modern and innovative solutions to our operational sites.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the delivery of a large portfolio of capital projects, providing MEICA and Civil engineering construction solutions for wastewater, water production, waste, and water network functions, both above and below ground.
  • Be an integral part of the growing Capital Maintenance Projects team.
  • Oversee procurement processes, framework suppliers, and subcontractor supply chains involved in site-based construction activities.
  • Manage resources and support the training and development of Project Engineers.
  • Support estimates, programming, and planning activities.
  • Ensure all projects meet program deadlines, client specifications, and legislative requirements, including health and safety, environmental, and HR standards.
  • Manage client site requirements, ensuring minimal operational impact.

Location & Requirements:

The role is based at Coppermills WTW, covering North West London, with travel required across the area. The position is office-based five days a week, and a valid driving license is necessary as a car allowance is provided.

Working Hours: 36 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

Candidate Profile:

  • Experience in a commercial and technical role, preferably with a degree/HND in engineering or business administration, and post-qualification experience.
  • Proven project management experience in an engineering environment, with knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and ICA systems.
  • Experience managing procurement processes and subcontractor supply chains.
  • Ability to manage resources and develop staff.
  • Capability to deliver projects within legislative, CDM, and regulatory standards.

Benefits:

  • Salary up to £66,000 per annum, depending on skills and experience.
  • 26 days annual leave, increasing to 30 with service, plus bank holidays.
  • Car allowance of £4,500 per year.
