Job Overview

As a Developer, you will play a key role in customizing, enhancing, and maintaining the SAGE X3 ERP system to meet the specific needs of our organization.

Digital Transformation is a strategic focus, and as such, you will play a key role in realizing the organization's objectives.

Duties & Responsibilities

1. Business process and Systems Alignment
2. Document and communicate new requests and change requests for approval and review.
3. Update business process changes in accordance with system updates and changes.
4. Collaborate with business teams to gather requirements.
5. Design and implement solutions that streamline business processes.
6. Customization: Develop and maintain custom scripts, reports, workflows, and applications within the SAGE X3 system to address business requirements.
7. Integration: Integrate SAGE X3 with other systems, such as third-party applications or databases, to ensure data flow and process automation.
8. Design and implement workflow processes to optimize business operations, automate tasks, and improve efficiency.
9. Manage data within the SAGE X3 system, including data import/export, data transformation, and data cleansing.
10. Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, including functional specifications, design documents, and user manuals.
11. Testing: Conduct thorough testing of developed solutions to ensure they meet the requirements and are free of errors or bugs.
12. Manage calls logged with Helpdesk.
13. Provide hands-on system administration support, system maintenance, and operations support.
14. User Support: Provide technical support and guidance to end-users and address issues related to the SAGE X3 system.
15. Ensure that calls are closed within the SLA times and update all calls daily, informing the business of their status.
16. Ensure solutions to unusual problems are documented.
17. Training: Provide training to end-users and colleagues on new functionalities and features in SAGE X3.

Desired Experience & Qualification

1. 1-2 years of experience working with Sage (Finance, Warehouse, Distribution, Procurement, Product Builder, Manufacturing, and Planning).
2. Proficiency in programming languages such as SQL, VB.NET, C#, or others relevant to the SAGE X3 platform.
3. Certifications in SAGE X3 development and administration are a plus.
4. Proven experience in SAGE X3 development and customization.
5. Familiarity with ERP systems and business processes, particularly in areas like finance, supply chain, and manufacturing.
6. Knowledge of SAGE X3 architecture and APIs.
7. Experience in integrating SAGE X3 with other systems and technologies.
8. Knowledge of data privacy practices and laws.
9. Experience in User Access Management, including new user setup, change requests, and terminations, with focus on audits.
10. Basic understanding of accounting principles and concepts.
