Job summary

A leading company in health and safety is seeking an experienced office administrator to manage training schedules, provide client information, and perform various administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and customer service skills, with a keen attention to detail. This role requires the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks under pressure, ensuring high-quality work and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • 4 – 5 years’ experience in general office administration.
  • Experience with training or educational programs is advantageous.

Job description

Inherent requirements:

  1. Matric
  2. 4 – 5 years’ experience in general office administration
  3. Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
  4. Customer service skills
  5. Proficient typing skills
  6. Computer literate (MS Office)
  7. Experience with training or educational programs (advantageous)

Duties and responsibilities:

  1. Provide information regarding products and services offered by KBC
  2. Provide information regarding the induction training requirements of KBC clients
  3. Prepare training schedules and book delegates for training interventions
  4. Ensure delegates attend the required training based on Nasonti Mine’s training matrix
  5. Capture delegates’ demographics on Learner Management System (LMS) / Contractor Management System (CMS)
  6. Assist with contractor onboarding on site
  7. Perform administrative duties including data entry, filing, typing, and scanning
  8. Assist with problem-solving to achieve resolutions and customer satisfaction
  9. Prepare and submit reports for management
  10. Ensure license cards are printed and issued after required verifications
  11. Schedule and manage bookings for medicals
  12. Ensure client certificates are printed and distributed
  13. Maintain efficient filing systems for training and business documentation
  14. Schedule machinery and equipment inspector appointments
