Junior Electrical Engineer – Solar Projects, System Optimization & Technical SupportWe are seeking a Junior Electrical Engineer to support solar energy projects, focusing on system design, optimization, and technical assistance.

The role involves working with solar PV systems, grid integration, and battery energy storage solutions (BESS).

The engineer will oversee BMS logs, analyze performance data, and prepare reports to optimize system efficiency.This position offers practical experience in solar PV design, installation, troubleshooting, and performance enhancement, ideal for those looking to build expertise in renewable energy engineering.Key Responsibilities : Project Support & Execution : Assist in electrical system design, including calculations for commercial and industrial solar PV systems.Conduct load analysis, energy yield assessments, and site feasibility studies.Support development of single-line diagrams, electrical schematics, and CAD drawings.Coordinate procurement of electrical components and support system integration.Participate in system testing, commissioning, and performance optimization.Prepare technical reports and project documentation.System Optimization & BESS Support : Analyze system performance using monitoring tools.Support BESS integration and optimize charge / discharge cycles.Assist in improving PV efficiency and refining energy management strategies.Develop models to enhance energy yield and reduce losses.BMS Oversight & Reporting : Monitor BMS logs to assess battery health and performance.Analyze trends to predict degradation and ensure reliability.Generate reports highlighting system performance and anomalies.Technical Support & Troubleshooting : Provide technical assistance to field teams and maintenance staff.Diagnose electrical faults and perform testing.Ensure compliance with electrical codes and safety standards.Maintain technical documentation and stay updated on technological advancements.Qualifications & Skills : Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related field.Minimum 2 years experience in electrical engineering, preferably in solar or related fields.Knowledge of solar PV calculations, BESS, and electrical load analysis.Experience with design software (AutoCAD, Helioscope, ETAP).Basic understanding of BMS data and reporting.Strong problem-solving and communication skills.Hands-on experience with solar installation and maintenance preferred.Willingness to travel and work outdoors, including at heights.Additional Details : Seniority level : Entry levelEmployment type : Full-timeJob function : Engineering and IT
