Role Purpose / Business Unit

The Solution Architect is responsible for designing and leading the implementation of solutions and capability architecture for the Airtime Advance business capability / user journey, according to the overall digital vision and target architecture.

This role involves technical analysis and holistic solution design of future capabilities, including external dependencies, cross-domain APIs, and technical enablers/stories.

The Solution Architect reviews the target architecture vision and roadmap, evaluates and prioritizes roadmap items, and translates them into designs and non-functional requirements.

Supports engineering to ensure development aligns with architecture principles and patterns.

Key Responsibilities

1. Translate the digital vision into solution designs and change requirements.
2. Design end-to-end solutions and cross-domain integrations.
3. Define non-functional, operational, and quality requirements.
4. Define technical stories to enable business capabilities, promote reuse, and ensure demos acceptance.
5. Collaborate on release planning of technical stories.
6. Guide delivery teams for alignment.
7. Provide 2nd and 3rd level technical support on Airtime Advance incidents.
8. Ensure solutions comply with security, privacy, and regulatory standards.
9. Manage technical debt and obsolescence.
10. Promote adoption of new technologies.

Ideal Candidate Profile

Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in relevant fields, 5-7 years of experience across multiple disciplines, extensive exposure to diverse technologies, experience in business capability modeling, and familiarity with agile methodologies. Knowledge of digital and telecommunications industries is preferred.
