Hire Resolve, a reputable recruitment agency, is seeking a dynamic and experienced SHEQ (Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality) Senior Manager to join our client's team in Pinetown.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our company's SHEQ programs and initiatives to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and promote a culture of safety and quality within the organization.

Responsibilities
  1. Develop, implement, and monitor SHEQ policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  2. Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and risks, and develop corrective action plans to address any deficiencies.
  3. Lead and manage a team of SHEQ professionals, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate SHEQ considerations into all aspects of the business, from product development to operations.
  5. Maintain records and documentation related to SHEQ performance, incidents, and regulatory requirements.
  6. Communicate with external stakeholders, including government agencies, customers, and suppliers, to address SHEQ concerns and promote best practices.
  7. Stay current on emerging SHEQ trends and technologies, and recommend improvements to enhance the company's overall safety and quality performance.
Requirements
  • BSc / BTech Degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Certified lead auditor – IATF, ISO, ISO, ISO, and ISO
  • Minimum 7-10 years of senior management experience
  • Experience with core quality management tools
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Advanced business reporting skills
