Job Description: Marketing Manager at Stanley Black & Decker South Africa

Stanley Black & Decker, a global leader in tools, storage, security solutions, and industrial automation, is seeking a dynamic, results-driven Marketing Manager for South Africa. This role involves overseeing trade marketing, brand marketing, and digital marketing initiatives to drive growth, expand market share, and enhance brand awareness for our brands—DEWALT, STANLEY, and BLACK & DECKER.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Brand Marketing: Develop and implement brand strategies, lead campaigns, analyze performance, manage budgets, and foster stakeholder relationships.
  2. Trade Marketing: Collaborate with sales and trade partners to develop programs, manage in-store promotions, monitor effectiveness, and stay ahead of market trends.
  3. Digital Marketing: Lead digital campaigns, optimize online presence, manage social media, and oversee website performance.
  4. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with product, sales, and customer service teams; support product launches; leverage regional digital teams.
  5. Market Insights and Reporting: Conduct research, analyze competitors, and report on marketing performance to inform strategic decisions.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field; MBA preferred.
  • At least 5 years of marketing experience in consumer goods or tools industry.
  • Strong knowledge of the South African market, consumer behavior, and digital trends.
  • Proven success in brand, trade, and digital marketing campaigns.
