Position: Kitchen Manager
They are seeking a Kitchen Manager who leads by example in the kitchen and takes pride in meticulous stock management and smooth back-of-house operations.
What You’ll Be Responsible For:
- Managing daily kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food quality, hygiene, and team performance.
- Taking ownership of stock control: ordering, receiving, recording, rotating, and minimizing waste.
- Collaborating with the Head Chef/General Manager to monitor food costs and inventory accuracy.
- Leading and supporting the kitchen team during service, training junior staff, and ensuring efficient shift planning.
- Maintaining supplier relationships and ensuring timely, cost-effective procurement of ingredients.
- Ensuring compliance with food safety, health & safety, and hygiene regulations at all times.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience in a Kitchen Manager or senior kitchen role with stock control responsibilities.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills.
- A sharp eye for detail regarding inventory, ordering, and waste reduction.
- Confidence in using stock management systems or inventory software.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and a valid food hygiene certification.
- A hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented kitchen environment.
