The HR Partner is responsible for delivering quality Human Resources practices, aligned to the group HR strategy in order to provide effective people solutions.
Drive implementation of Talent and people strategy within the specific division
Ensure best practice solutions crafting by Support Centres of Expertise are implemented within the chain
Partner with line management to ensure that we support the people that deliver superior returns
Accountable for ensuring all HR related key dials are managed
Ensure overtime is processed for region in line with PRP requirements
Submit all payroll related documentation to payroll by the payroll cut of date
Update and ensure employee files exist for all staff in region
Ensure that files are compliant and complete
Manage address, occupation and salary changes for region
Ensure all legislative requirements are completed
Consolidate the HR monthly report from regional HR BP's, training, ER and Recruitment
Track progress against targets
Investigate out of line area's and suggest/ provide corrective action
Ensure all reports are submitted on time and in line with requirements
Monitor progress of HR projects in line with agreed deadlines
Ensure vacancies in region are filled within the 21 day target
Conduct exit interviews and consolidate feedback to HR Executive
Ensure all resignations are processed on payroll timeously
Develop and implement a division specific Talent strategy in conjunction with the Head of HR
Manage talent risk and retention in conjunction with Senior management
Mitigate skills shortages and gaps through Learning and Development
Ensure all quality and compliance measures are effectively executed
Ensure fit for purpose learning interventions are applied within the division
Develop and manage a talent pipeline for the division
Manage service levels and delivery aligned to the service level agreement
Ensure performance management system is fit for purpose
Monitor, track and advise on performance issues within the division
Manage discipline, performance management and other IR issues within the division
Ensure performance management discussions are in line with practices
Observe and provide oversight in poor work performance processes
Drive change initiatives within the division
Act as change partner on large scale organisational change initiatives
Ensure performance metrics and job profiles are articulated across the division
3 Year B-degree or equivalent NQF level (7) qualification in HR Management, Commerce or Industrial Psychology or requisite experience
Sound Knowledge of Human Resources practices, Legislation and procedures
