Sales Consultant for Renewable Energy

Our client, a leading global market player in the power industry, is looking to appoint a Sales Consultant for Renewable Energy.

The sales consultant will be the primary point of contact responsible for keeping current clients satisfied and delivering exceptional client service on a day-to-day basis.

The candidate will enhance the department and organization's reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests.

The successful candidate will help customers through email, phone, online presentations, screen-share, and in-person meetings.

They will also explore opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

Responsibilities
  1. Establish new business and promote renewable energy
  2. Design and write project plans, presentations, project proposals, and explain them
  3. Build long-term relationships with customers, stakeholders, executive sponsors, and key accounts
  4. Help customers via mail, phone, online presentations, screen-share, and in-person meetings
  5. Ensure the timely and successful delivery according to customer needs
  6. Report on progress of monthly / quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
  7. Forecast and track key account metrics
  8. Monitor and analyze customer's usage of our product
  9. Work with the sales team to onboard and integrate new clients and develop existing client relationships
  10. Liaise between the customer and internal teams
  11. Draft proposals for C & I projects
Desired Experience & Qualifications
  • Diploma in Electrical Engineering, sales, business management, finance, or related fields
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in Distribution
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in EPC Projects
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in Solar Sales
  • Must have PPA experience
  • Must have a financial background
Package & Remuneration

R25,000 – R30,000, depending on experience
