Nvirotek is recruiting for a Laboratory Assistant Level 1 to assist with the intake and physical handling of all samples upon receipt, ensuring proper preparation for laboratory processing.

Duties And Responsibilities Of The Job

• Assist with sample receipt by carrying containers with samples to designated reception areas per sample type.
• Ensure samples are unpacked in correct areas and in a timely manner.
• Perform physical/initial preparation of samples for analysis.
• Properly store bulk samples.
• Assist in other areas when time allows or as needed.
• Support preparation and testing across all disciplines within the laboratory.
• Adhere to requirements related to health and safety, ISO standards, and housekeeping.
• Complete in-house training on relevant procedures and demonstrate competency within one month.
