Job description

POSITION OBJECTIVE

Responsible for all aspects regarding company housing, service rendition and housing administration.

KEY ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED:

·Grade 12 with a minimum of 5 years’ experience as a maintenance supervisor

·Computer literate with capability in MS Office and related communication tools

·Solid Knowledge and understanding of Health and Safety regulations and practices.

·Strong knowledge of building trades, cleaning procedures and maintenance

·Effective budgeting and performance management

·Planning, Organizational and Leadership Skills

·Eye for detail

·Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

·Work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

·Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Maintenance of Housing and Housing Infrastructure which includes inspections of sites, preparation of weekly schedules, preventative maintenance, and establishment of strategies to meet workload demand on time.
  2. Maintenance of Villages and Infrastructure which includes daily cleaning activities and inspections of sites on a weekly basis.Also conduct and oversee all repairs and ensure that work is completed on time.
  3. Financial Report / Budgeting – includes but not limited to budget control, tender/quote for service providers, control and pay of contractors and submit weekly Operational Financial update meetings with FM.
  4. Housing Policy – apply the company Housing Policy, monitoring adherence to rental agreements and ensure compliance with current legal requirements and inform all relevant parties accordingly.
