Job description

Retail Pharmacy Technician Position in Seven Springs Toowoomba

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Retail Pharmacy Technician at Ramsay Pharmacy Toowoomba. This is a permanent full-time position on a rotating roster, including weekend shifts.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurate checking of inward goods against supplier invoices and goods receipting
• Proper placement of received goods in dispensary, including refrigerated items
• Maintaining accurate barcode and location lists in the dispensary and ward imprests, with correct labelling on shelves
• Participating in stock takes
• Monitoring stock expiry dates and reviewing stock levels in dispensary and ward imprests
• Managing pharmaceutical waste and packaging materials responsibly
• Staying up-to-date with PBS legislative requirements impacting pharmacy operations
• Providing specialised patient care to our valued patients and customers

Candidate Attributes and Experience

• Certificate III in Community Pharmacy or equivalent experience
• Good computer literacy, including familiarity with dispensing software and Microsoft Office 365
• Strong customer service ethic
• High attention to detail
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Experience in retail pharmacy is highly desirable but not essential
• Focus on customer service, enthusiasm, energy, and effective communication skills

Mandatory Requirements

• Proof of immunisation against infectious diseases
• A recent national police check (within the last 12 months)
