Job description

Business Development Manager (Accounting / SaaS) – Johannesburg.

A growing financial technology firm is looking for a recently qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) to step into a Business Development Manager role.

Ideal for a candidate with a passion for tech and experience in SaaS sales and B2B outbound development, this front-office role offers the chance to work closely with C-suite executives and manage the full sales cycle—from lead generation to closing deals.

Salary: R650 000 – R750 000 CTC per annum.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA)
  • Experience selling SaaS platforms
  • Proven B2B outbound sales/business development background
  • Strong financial acumen and commercial awareness
  • Confident presenting to and negotiating with executive stakeholders
  • Excellent relationship-building and communication skills
  • Target-driven with strong time management
  • Comfortable conducting product demos and custom presentations
  • Open to feedback and continuous learning

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research and target international clients
  • Drive outbound sales and business development
  • Present demos, negotiate, and manage full sales process
  • Support pricing proposals and RFP responses
