We seek an Environmental Officer who is strongly committed to health, safety, and quality.

This role is ideal for a technically minded individual eager to champion the best environmental practices while supporting EHSQ compliance across all business functions. You’ll be instrumental in driving initiatives that reduce the environmental footprint, enhance workplace safety, and uphold our quality standards. This is a pivotal role in embedding sustainable practices into everyday operations.

Experience & Qualifications

  • B.Sc. in Microbiology / Biochemistry / Chemistry / or other biological sciences
  • Prior experience in environmental compliance and wastewater treatment is advantageous
  • Experience with systems such as HACCP, ISO 14001 (preferred), ISO 9001
  • Background: Focus on Scientific / Environmental experience, Quality and Health& Safety

Technical & Other Skills

  • Sound understanding of environmental regulations, effluent management, and pollution control
  • Ability to conduct audits, inspections, and implement environmental and safety systems
  • Proficient in data analysis and reporting on key environmental metrics (energy, water, emissions)
  • Strong coordination skills to collaborate with production, safety, and quality teams
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and teamwork capabilities
