Job description

Duties :
  1. Prospecting for new business from new clients and mining the store's database.
  2. Educating prospective clients on the value proposition of owning physical gold.
  3. Transacting sales using the company's sales processes and system.
  4. Promoting new launches with existing and potential clients.
  5. Ensuring clients' needs are properly diagnosed and they understand why they are buying gold coins.
  6. Attending to client enquiries and providing feedback on deliveries and payments as necessary.
  7. Greeting clients and making them feel comfortable.
  8. Following the company's processes to ensure a great client experience.
  9. Opening and closing the store.
  10. Cleaning the store.
  11. Merchandising: putting the product out and packing it away.
  12. Stock control: conducting two stock takes a day.
  13. Following company's policies, procedures, rules, and regulations.
  14. Safeguarding the company's property and keys to the store.
  15. Being vigilant about security risks such as fraud.
  16. Adhering to policies and regulations such as FICA, OHS, Second-Hand Goods Act, CPA.
  17. Working well within a team and solving conflicts effectively if necessary.
Requirements :
  1. Strong track record in sales, especially in networking and prospecting.
  2. Well presented, well spoken, and likable.
  3. Ability to build and maintain positive client and team relationships.
  4. Trustworthy and reliable.
  5. Willing to follow company policies and procedures.
  6. Consistent in efforts.
  7. Healthy, sober, and energetic.
  8. Enthusiastic about learning about clients, products, the economy, news, and gold.
  9. Some ambition; career growth opportunities to managerial roles.
  10. Willing to work shifts and every second weekend for flexibility.
