You will work closely with internal regional teams (including HR People Partners, Employee Data Analysts, Payroll services, Pensions, Reward, IT), the wider GM team globally, and external strategic partners (for immigration, tax, and relocation services) to deliver exceptional employee experience. This vacancy is within the Africa and NAMET Mobility team, responsible for assignments and transfers inbound to Africa and NAMET.

If you thrive on supporting others, solving complex problems, and are curious about different cultures, this could be a great role for you!

Main Responsibilities
  1. Manage moves across various policy types including long-term international assignments, short-term assignments, commuter assignments, and permanent transfers.

  5. Proactively develop understanding of local employment law, immigration, personal tax, social security, payroll compliance, and vendor management.
  6. Create and maintain assignee and process documentation.
  7. Ensure payroll instructions and compliance are met.
  8. Drive local consistency with global policies and processes, focusing on data integrity and compliance.
  9. Seek feedback and suggest improvements to enhance employee experience.
  10. Collaborate with colleagues on operational tasks, prioritize, resolve problems, and participate in capability-building sessions.
  11. Become a 'Subject Matter Expert' in specific areas, sharing knowledge to build team capability.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Experience managing various assignment/transfer types as an in-house Global Mobility Advisor or similar is preferred.
  • Experience working with external vendors for immigration, tax, and relocation services is desirable.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with senior stakeholders.
  • Understanding of HR systems and employment laws beneficial.

Skills include strong technical expertise in Global Mobility, customer focus, stakeholder management, emotional intelligence, agility, problem-solving, critical thinking, proficiency in MS Office, effective communication, and organizational skills.
