SUMMARY :

Our client, a fast-growing finance and technology company operating in South Africa and neighboring countries, is seeking an Intermediate Product Owner. The company is supported by strong shareholders and a board of directors with extensive experience in entrepreneurship and lending.

POSITION INFO : Responsibilities :

1. Act as the product owner for credit products, overseeing system implementation of credit policies, credit scoring, provisioning, and system data.
2. Define, prioritize, and deliver system changes and enhancements.
3. Ensure timely and quality implementations, actively participating wherever necessary.
4. Perform root cause analysis on issues encountered.
5. Communicate and collaborate effectively with stakeholders, primarily the data and credit teams.

Requirements :

• At least 2 years of relevant experience, such as Product Owner, Business/System Analyst, or demonstrated relevant abilities.
• Proficiency in writing SQL database queries.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, employing logical and pragmatic reasoning.
• Attention to detail, quality, and accuracy, with a meticulous approach to work.
• Fast learner with the ability to self-develop.
