This is a regional sales management role responsible for managing a team of vested Financial Advisors with more than 24 months' experience.

These Financial Advisors would have either transferred to the Sales Manager after vesting under the Development Manager or been recruited directly into this team from outside.

  • Create and drive sales plans, targets, and growth
  • Marketing and business building support
  • Coaching and development of Financial Advisors
  • Manage business retention processes
  • Compliance and risk management
  • Oversee quality and productivity management
  • Provide effective People and Performance Management
  • Manage budgets and expenses of the team
  • Recruit experienced Financial Intermediaries
What will make you successful in this role?
Qualifications & experience
  • 5 – 8 years Financial Services experience in sales/marketing environment
  • Minimum of 3 years sales and operational management/leadership in retail affluent environment
  • Degree or diploma in finance, business, or legal field; CFP preferred; RE 5 essential; RE1 preferable
Knowledge and skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office, web platforms, and advisor tools
  • Financial services industry and product knowledge
  • Legal and regulatory compliance knowledge (FAIS accredited)
  • Business planning, sales, and marketing practices
  • Management skills, budgeting, and expense management
