Position: Executive Chef

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Executive Chef to oversee all aspects of culinary operations within our establishment.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Leading and managing kitchen operations to ensure high standards of food preparation, presentation, and hygiene.
  2. Overseeing a team of chefs and kitchen staff, fostering teamwork and productivity.
  3. Resolving problems quickly to maintain smooth operations.
  4. Creating innovative, market-responsive menus reflecting modern cuisine.
  5. Monitoring food costs, controlling portions, reducing waste, and maintaining cost-effective production processes.
  6. Ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations, HACCP standards, and hygiene protocols.
  7. Maintaining a safe working environment and ensuring compliance with external audits.
  8. Mentoring, training, and providing growth opportunities for team members.
  9. Staying updated with food trends and industry developments.
  10. Managing inventory, stock rotation, and conducting weekly stock takes.
  11. Implementing controls to reduce pilferage and loss, maintaining appropriate par stock levels.
