Job description

Job Responsibilities
  1. Identify and develop new SOPs as needed; measure factory SOP competency and conduct SOP training and evaluation.
  2. Prepare monthly Training & SOP reports for presentation at Exco by the Training Coordinator.
  3. Record all training activities on training software and reconcile with SAP monthly.
  4. Collect and receive completed training administration documents from facilitators within specified submission periods.
  5. Complete all required checklists and forms for scheduled and coordinated training sessions.
  6. Source and arrange training venues as required.
  7. Organize travel arrangements as needed.
  8. Inform relevant parties of cancellations, postponements, or new bookings.
  9. Obtain all necessary documentation for training registration and booking.
  10. Source relevant accredited training providers aligned with business needs.
  11. Schedule training programs based on business requirements.
  12. Maintain constant liaison with foreign technicians for skills transfer.
  13. Coordinate all training-related activities, including factory WSP compilation and audits.
  14. Develop, implement, and maintain SHE policies and procedures specific to site activities.
  15. Conduct factory and site inspections, audits, and report on non-compliances.
  16. Conduct safety training as needed.
  17. Investigate, report, and manage all incidents.
  18. Oversee HSE compliance on site.
  19. Ensure compliance with Occupational Health and Safety Act and regulations.
  20. Perform hazard identification and risk assessments (HIRA).
  21. Plan and organize training activities effectively.
  22. Prepare for BBBEE verification and understand employment equity requirements.
  23. Possess excellent multi-tasking, communication, and independent working skills.
Key Requirements
  • National Diploma in Human Resources Management, Training & Development, Safety Management, or Environmental Health.
  • BTech qualification in relevant field is advantageous.
  • SDF Accreditation is advantageous.
  • SAMTRAC certification preferable.
  • Experience with SAGE, Peopleputer, and proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a manufacturing environment.
