Job summary

Location: Springs, Gauteng

Are you an experienced CNC Programmer seeking an opportunity in a world-class production environment? At Epiroc, driven by innovation, efficiency, and excellence, we value precision machining and continuous improvement. This role is ideal if you thrive in such an environment.

What You Will Be Doing
  • Program, set up, and operate CNC lathes, milling machines, and multi-axis machining centers.
  • Ensure first-off pieces meet quality standards.
  • Optimize tooling usage and cycle times to improve efficiency.
  • Maintain and update CNC programs, ensuring proper backups.
  • Manage tooling inventories and reduce tooling costs.
  • Implement Lean Manufacturing and Kaizen principles.
  • Assist production engineers, team leaders, and QSHE managers as needed.
  • Develop training plans for CNC operators to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Conduct planned task observations (PTOs) and adhere to ISO and OHS regulations.
What Makes You a Great Fit?
  • Grade 12 qualification with relevant trade certification.
  • Minimum 5 years of CNC machining experience, including 3 years in programming.
  • Strong knowledge of Mazatrol and Fanuc controls.
  • Experience with CAD/CAM systems (SolidWorks knowledge is an advantage).
