Job description

Requirements

To render a quality analytical/diagnostic service by performing viral serology tests on veterinary samples in accordance with the requirements of ISO/IEC 17025. These include but are not limited to:

1. Performing HA/HI, AGID, ELISA, and VNT tests.
2. Receiving and recording sample details in record books and correctly storing samples.
3. Registering samples.
4. Recording results in the appropriate results books and LabWare system.
5. Assisting in the improvement and development of new test methods in collaboration with the Head of Laboratory.
6. Providing research support by giving project input regarding technical details and carrying out assigned technical tasks.
