Senior Design Manager

*Senior Design Manager, North East London*
A well-established Contractor is seeking a Senior Design Manager to oversee a team working on a 200-unit scheme in East London. Renowned for their sustainable and collaborative approach to home building, they concentrate on high quality design and specialise in new build, refurbishment and social housing projects across London.

The role of the Senior Design Manager will be to manage the processes for design and build contracts, organise and chair meetings throughout, procure design information in a timely manner, provide technical advice as well as understanding the requirements of clients. Suitable applicants will be highly organised individuals, competent in prioritising their workload, managing junior staff and liaising with all key stakeholders in a confident manner.

Ideal candidates will be existing Design Managers with a HNC/HND or equivalent design or technical based qualification. This would also suit exceptionally experienced Senior and Project Architects who have significant residential experience at RIBA stages 4-6 looking to transition into a design management role.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone to immerse themselves in a successful business and oversee a small team on a complex project.
A remuneration of £75k-£85k plus package is of offer for the right candidate.
