Position: Agile Project Manager

We are looking for an Agile Project Manager to join our financial services client based in Sandton.

Responsibilities

1. Ensure successful implementation of Agile in software projects, aligning with business needs and strategic goals.
2. Provide expert guidance to the project team on processes, systems, tools, methods, communication, integration, and team dynamics through weekly facilitation sessions.
3. Engage with diverse stakeholders, facilitating communication across different groups to meet their needs.
4. Build professional relationships through regular engagement, communication, and feedback, utilizing quality metrics and project status reports.
5. Accurately estimate costs based on client requirements and project scope, and manage the project budget within scope.
6. Deliver projects on time, within budget, and according to scope and governance standards.
7. Maintain traceability of benefits throughout the project lifecycle and escalate deviations.
8. Manage project scope based on estimations and client requirements.
9. Ensure project delivery aligns with the schedule.
10. Advise clients on appropriate project management approaches, identify stakeholders, define their roles, and manage engagement strategies through the project plan.

Requirements

• Completed IT/BSc degree or related field.
• 5-8 years of experience in project environments, including at least 5 years as a Project Manager.
• SAFe certification and experience are essential.
• Proven project management and Agile project management experience.
• Scrum Master certification and experience are required.
