Qualifications
Tertiary qualification in Supply Chain and / or Transport Management
Minimum 5 years relevant industry experience with comprehensive knowledge of transport and logistics
Proficient in MS Office, especially Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint; strong Excel skills for data management and reporting
Experience with tracking and tracing systems
Job-related Requirements
Extensive experience in logistics transport, client management, and relationship building within warehouse and transportation environments
Understanding of supply chain processes, including inbound, outbound, and returns
Proven skills in organizing, directing, controlling, and monitoring transport operations
Ability to meet customer expectations and ensure compliance with procedures, regulations, and work instructions
Strong interpersonal, communication, and conflict management skills
Data analysis skills and attention to detail
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and as part of a team
Fluency in English (spoken and written)

Main Purpose of the Role
Oversee daily transportation operations to meet or exceed SLAs, manage carrier performance, and ensure seamless coordination between carriers, internal teams, and clients.
Maintain strong relationships, monitor performance, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Manage transportation processes and carrier compliance
Monitor and report on carrier performance and incidents
Coordinate with stakeholders and manage escalations
Ensure accuracy and timeliness of documentation and reporting
Maintain safety, governance, and compliance standards
Support operational improvements and change management
Perform ad hoc duties as required
